| Surviving
in the beef industry today means adapting to changes
in consumer demand.
That is what the developers of the Speckle
Park breed had in mind when they created a moderate
size animal that produces a tender, juicy, flavourful
piece of beef, the size the restaurant industry desires.
Because it is a new breed, other characteristics
were selected for as well; including easy calving,
low birthweights, quiet disposition, and colour qualities
that resist disease. More recently, carcass competitions
and feedlot testing have proven the merits of the
breed.

Canadian
Speckle Park Association to see for yourself the
advantages of this new distinctly Canadian breed.
